Before I Was Burried Alive
A broken doll failed to be manipulated by the rat race.
Some say life happens for you, not to you. I was essentially blessed to never have any luck when trying to do things the “right way” or fit it with the “right people”. As a deeply intuitive and emotional child, my mind always saw a way for things to improve. I always took charge of creative projects because I was disgusted by low effort or careless energy. Mainly because it was the one time I felt interested in doing things. I should have noticed how that would foreshadow my luck in maintaining professional positions or social relationships.
Crawling Out of My Grave
But first, let me tell you about who put me in the grave. Turns out making a lot of money doesn't make you happy when you aren't passionate about it. Being surrounded by people with no loyalty feels more isolating than being alone.
I got fired. Cut off people who did not value my soul. All I had left was time to myself and my creative ideas. I then decided to take the hint that the current world wasn’t for me. My old self was buried by people who didn't appreciate me; they just needed me. I then bruhsed off the soil and worms as I crawled out of my grave and decided, out of spite, I would become the most successful person and go after all those who thought they could get away with my death.
I learned that in order to become more successful, I would have to lean into all the reasons why I wasn't good enough to fit in. My natural urge for creative leadership energy led me to want to be self-employed, where I can make all the rules and decisions.
Starting My Own Cult
I only create for the unhinged Misfits
I created Dearest Decay Studios as a way for me to visually feed like-minded disturbed souls. A place far away from mass-produced, bland items for people who will consume just about anything that is trending rather than what they desire personally.
I only create for the ones who refuse to settle creatively. Unhinged creations made to enhance your style and aesthetic because sacrifice is meant for spells, not personal expression. I am very particular about what is allowed in my space, which means it is important for me to share that perspective on why you should be too! From your home, workplace, and favorite coffee shops you like to visit, everything deserves to be an experience. Misfits here at Dearest Decay Studios value immersive environments and do not waste time in bland surroundings. I also use my creations to help misfits overcome their personal transformations as they navigate through life, which means we have strict integrity and do not tolerate being surrounded by energy parasites.
What's the Overgrown Post?
This is my way of recreating the blog as its own newspaper press release. I plan on using my blog for fun personal life updates along with homemade recipes like DIY decor, skincare, cooking and more!
